SEASONAL SERVICE

Women’s Circles

A sanctuary for thoughtful women to slow down, listen inward, and engage what truly matters.

A place to exhale and to expand. To explore meaningful ideas, reconnect with yourself, and be changed by honest conversation.

SEASONAL • SLOWING DOWN • INNER EXPLORATION

Reflection that restores. Conversation that expands.

There comes a point when ideas alone aren’t enough, you want space to live inside them.

Seasonal Women’s Circles are intimate, small-group gatherings designed as mini-retreats for thoughtful women. Each season, we explore meaningful themes, from creativity to conscious aging to reinvention, and bring the ideas into lived experience through reflection, journaling, and deep conversation.

Rather than fixing or improving yourself, you’re invited to slow down and listen.
To notice what’s stirring. To question, reflect, and explore. To allow insight to unfold in the company of other women doing the same.

This is not performative. There is no pressure to impress, debate, or arrive with polished answers. Instead, there is space for depth, for curiosity, for widening perspectives and for the quiet aha that changes how you see your life.

How the Seasonal Themes Work

Each season is shaped around a shared theme, often inspired by a single book, poet, or body of work exploring topics such as conscious aging, creativity, embodiment, self-compassion, intuition, or living with greater aliveness.

The book is not the focus — your lived experience is.

You’re welcome to read along if that feels nourishing, but every gathering includes a thoughtful synopsis and guided prompts. Nothing essential happens outside the Circle. The shared material simply gives us a common language for deeper reflection.

This is not a book club or discussion group.
It’s a space for integration, meaning-making, and being deeply seen.

‍ ‍ Keep Coming Back

“I’ve been coming to your women’s circles for years because I really appreciate the safe, calm and relaxed space that you create and hold for us. Thank you for a fun, fascinating and expansive year, in part because of my explorations here. I’m looking forward to seeing you again at the next Circle, and the one after that, and after that!”

‍ ‍ Feed my soul

“Attending your women’s circles makes my heart sing and tickles my joy chord. For those few hours, I give myself permission to deviate from the “expected” mode of being and operating and instead ignite what is true to my core. It feels good to remember who I am at my center and to selflessly applaud, acknowledge and honor the beautiful, powerful and loving being that I am.

– Robyn, President Spirit of Africa Adventures

‍ ‍ Focused Exploration

“In Carolyn’s women’s circle, she often chooses a book as a focus each season. Yet, it’s not really about the book. Carolyn has a talent for taking a topic, widening it with poetry and other resources, and developing questions for us to explore it all in a deeper way. On my own I might superficially read a passage; but in these Circles, with Carolyn’s facilitation, I gain insights that often lead to transformation.” – Beth, Creative Traveler/Blogger
