Carolyn Scarborough is based in Austin, Texas, and has spent more than 20 years guiding women back to their creative voice, inner wisdom, and what feels most alive. Her work supports deep inward listening, the gentle dissolving of stuckness, and the shaping of lives that truly reflect who they are.
About Carolyn Scarborough
Carolyn understands the subtle ways women can grow smaller or more disconnected over time — not from drama or breakdown, but as outworn habits begin to masquerade as safety and life settles into familiar grooves that quietly discourage growth.
Many of the women she works with have done meaningful work in the world and are now sensing a quieter loss: a dulling of aliveness, a creative voice getting dimmer, a sense that it’s too late to create something larger.
Through decades of mindfulness practice, writing, and deep inner listening, Carolyn has cultivated a rare ability: she can follow even the most nonlinear creative threads — the ones that feel tender, surprising, or a little out there — and gently redirect them into clarity and grounded insight.
Today, she creates spaces where women can listen inward, reclaim their creative energy, and live from a more expansive inner field — not in theory, but in daily life.

Carolyn’s creative life isn’t something she teaches from a distance — it’s something she practices daily. She returns to presence again and again, noticing when she’s drifted into disconnection or old, unhelpful stories, and gently choosing curiosity and aliveness instead.
She loves Nia dancing, writing in outdoor coffee shops, hiking, sitting in the sun with a book of poetry, and doing delightfully Austin-weird things like pond singing and wandering art spaces. She believes joy, curiosity, and aliveness are not luxuries, but essential ingredients of a meaningful life.
